Lawn Maintenance

TURFKLIPS prides itself in making absolutely certain EVERY NEIGHBOR is provided with the most positive experience. Not only with our performance, but most importantly, YOUR lawn. We want you to arrive home or walk out that front door and realize you have one of the prettiest and healthiest lawns on the block!

Why is frequent mowing so important? Frequent mowing does much more than just keep the grass short. It promotes the growth and creation of “turf”. TURF is grass grown thickly enough to choke out non-grasses and create a monoculture...in other words, NO WEEDS!

To make things super easy and convenient, we've created three different Lawn Maintenace Packages for you to choose from. From the very fundamental needs of the Basic Package to the all-encompassing, worry-free, Premium Package
.
Packages available in WEEKLY and BIWEEKLY service calls.
Each quote will contain a price specifically for your property!

Mowing • All grassy areas will be mowed at the appropriate height that is most healthy for your type of grass.

Weekly / Biweekly Mowing: While we offer lawn mowing on a weekly and bi-weekly basis, we strongly recommend weekly lawn mowing in order to keep your lawn looking its best. Weekly mowing ensures an even, clean cut, and optimizes the health of your lawn. Healthy lawns are more attractive, better able to withstand the stress of hot South Carolina summers, and naturally block out weeds.

Mulching: Our commercial grade mulching mowers have the ability to chop the grass blades into fine clippings before releasing them back onto the ground. Mulching the grass clippings is beneficial for numerous reasons:
• Grass clippings act as a natural fertilizer by returning nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, and trace amounts of micro nutrients to your lawn.
• Mulching reduces the water needs of your lawn.
• It decreases lawn waste, making it the more environmentally friendly option.
• Grass clippings are over 80% water and decompose quickly. They will not add to thatch in the lawn.

Weed-Eating • Line trimming along and around all trees, posts, fencing, etc.

Edging • Using a steel blade edger provides a clean and finished edge between the grass and your patio, sidewalk, driveway, porch, etc.

Blowing • Removal of all yard debris using a professional, high-powered blower leaving your property clean and beautiful!

Bed Maintenance • Trimming, blowing and spraying of any unwanted growth.

Shrub Trimming • Maintaining and manicuring all shrubs. Clean-up and disposal of all debris.

Fertilization • Feeding your lawn, in increments throughout the year, to keep it healthy and performing its best.

Weed Control • Proper management practices and lawn specific applications which encourage a dense, healthy turf.
